Defeating the Giants

2 Cor 10:4-6
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, NKJV
There is a call in this divine Kairos of God, for a David company to rise on the earth.
This is a company who will destroy ideologies, mindsets and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of Christ.   These are modern day enemies that must be "beheaded".

David was a man of war.  The Bible says that he defeated all of his enemies.  One of the enemies that he defeated was Goliath, the gigantic Philistine.  Philistine means wallowing, or carnal indulgence.  This giant represents the lust of the flesh.

Samson was also called to defeat the Philistines.  He was born a Nazarene, anointed and separated unto God.  With all his power and anointing he is a picture of the present Charismatic Church.   However, Samson, could not discern the Philistine.  He married one of them and like many believers today he was "brought low".  This is the meaning of Delilah.  Samson posed riddles, he could not discern the Word of the Lord.  Today there are many unsolved riddles in the Charismatic church.  These are cunningly devised fables and doctrines of men which no one can explain or no one is willing to discuss.  Samson was acting for the people.  The 21st century charismatic church has become an entertainment arena.  If you remove the entertainment you will lose the people.  More and more churches are looking at increasing entertainment to "draw" more people.  This is the number one strategy for church growth.  Sadly, the way you draw your people is the way that you maintain them, and the entertainment industry is upgrading rapidly.

Motivational speaking has replaced provocative preaching.  The Word is no longer living and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, piercing, discerning... Samson gave his people honey.  The 21st century church majors on sweets.  Messages that feeds your flesh.  Samson suffered of self pity, his prayer was "now shall I die of thirst?  He did not recognise his own calling, neither did he walk into the purposes for his life.  Finally, the only way for Samson to defeat the Philistines was to commit suicide.  Sadly in his death, he killed more Philistines that when he was alive.

On the contrary, David is a picture of the true Church.  David did not operate in deceit.  He did not have to marry a Philistine to gain citizenship.  David did not need to go "down" to Timnah.  He was not "brought low" by the uncircumcised Philistines.  David was fixated on his call, to defeat the Philistines....to overcome the flesh.  David killed Goliath, not with an usual armour, but with a divine strategy from God.  He understood the name of the Lord.  He understood that the battle is the Lord's.  He refused to use Saul's armour.  David did not demand celebrity attention.  David's was accessible.  He was underestimated, he was rediculed, he was despised by his own brothers.  But David's victory was for the whole nation.  He understood team dynamics, in fact, after David defeated Goliath, his men defeated the other giants.  He shared the victory with his men.  He did not rely in his own hair, but his strength was in God.

Goliath today represents strongholds, superstitious mindsets, ideologies; ignorance, deception, and every other principality that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.  These are mindsets contrary to the Word of God.  Therefore doctrine is more important than any other practise in the church.  The apostles understood this dynamic, they continued daily in the doctrine of the apostle, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayers.  These are the four pillars of true church culture.  The doctrine of the Apostle, which is the proceeding Word of God, comes before the other three pillars.    When Samson destroyed the first pillar (doctrine) the rest came tumbling down.  Therefore many churches today are committing suicide by destroying the first pillar in the church.  Fellowship and prayers cannot take the place of doctrine in the church, for He has exalted His Word above His Name.  David did not kill himself, but he beheaded his enemy with his own sword.  Goliath was killed by his own lust, he died by his own sword.

There is a David company manifesting on the earth, who are accurately discerning the uncircumcised Philistine, and ready to behead every giant that exalt itself against the Word of God!
