the Life community

This Household of Faith is established by Gerda Pillay and Marlon Pillay, who both function in a team, as the set man and father of this household of faith.

Gerda & Marlon met at Bible college, after they have both already submitted their lives to the divine call and separation for the work of the ministry.  Their focus on this purpose has always provoked them both with a sense of urgency and constantly propelled them to a greater revelation and deeper level of intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ.  As a team they understand how to access and multiply the grace in each other, and distribute their grace according to the will of God.  Marlon & Gerda are passionate about the current church reformation, and devote their time abundantly in researching; studying and teaching the proceeding Word of God. Together with their daughters; Zoë & Cleo Petra; they submit wholeheartedly to the leadership and mentoring of Dr. S. Y. Govender.

OUR MANDATE:

1. TO TRAIN THE BELIEVER FOR THE ACCURATE BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD;
2.  PROMOTE SPIRITUAL GROWTH TO MATURITY AND PERSONAL MANIFESTATION OF THE VICTORY OF CHRIST;
3. DISMANTLE INACCURATE OPERATING SYSTEMS AND EVERY DOCTRINE THAT EXALTS  ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST
4. DEVELOP AUTONOMOUS BELIEVERS AND A LIFESTYLE OF EXCELLENCE.

Eph 4:12-16
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.  NKJV

STRATEGY = LIFE:
L-    Locate the believer’s function; purpose and destiny in the Body of Christ;
I-    Instruct each believer to fulfil their purpose in the Kingdom of God;
F-    Furnish the believer with practical resources as vehicles to his / her purpose;
E-    Establish the believer in His / Her destiny.
